Self is diverse not to be by itself.

Once upon a time a little boy asked his father a simple question. 'Father, what sets humans apart from other creations of God?' The father replied with two simple words: ‘Self-reflection’. The next day the child returned to his father with another question. ‘Father, what is Self?' The father replied: ‘Self is One not wanting to be alone.’ The boy left yet to return the following day with another question: ‘Father, what is the purpose of Self?' The father answered the following: ‘The purpose of Self is Companionship, Friendship, Love. You see; all this is Self. Self is diverse for Companionship. Self is diverse for Friendship. Self is diverse for Love. So Love simply Love for the truth is always simple and the purpose is always Love.'
