The origin of the universe is desire. That sounds very seductive. And it is very close to the truth. But truth is simpler yet. The universe is self. The origin of self is desire. Desire not to be alone. Desire for companionship. All this is self embracing itself. All this is self experiencing itself as differentiated for love. Love sweet intoxicating love. Of course all that is here is Self desiring not to be by itself. It is why diversity exists. Diversity exists not to feel alone. Diversity exists for Companionship. Diversity exists for Love. The nature of reality is as simple as abc. All this is Self. Self has created itself to perceive itself as differentiated so not to be by itself. All is one unbroken whole. How can there be any division? It is not possible. Diversity exists; division does not . When mankind mistakes diversity for division, it causes discord at best and suffering at worst. Diversity exists for companionship; companionship is the only purpose. ~ Wald
