The human being longs for connectedness and it is good. It is the purpose of the world. It is the purpose of the word. It is the purpose of self. The purpose of self not to be by itself. The purpose of self companionship, friendship, love. What is not good is when this science, this knowledge, is used not primarily for the greater good but for the sole purpose of private monetization. As such capitalism should have social underpinnings which redistribute excessive wealth gathered by the so-called social media corp(ses) back to we the people.
