The mere fact that consciousness can question itself exists proves that consciousness self-exists. The answer to the question as to what is consciousness is Love. Love Self-Exists, that is to say, Love experiences its own existency. It is just that we, Love, call ourselves Life. ~ Wald

Of course all that is here is Self desiring not to be by itself. It is why diversity exists. Diversity exists not to feel alone. Diversity exists for Companionship. Diversity exists for Love. The purpose is not to fight, quite the contrary, the purpose is Companionship otherwise known as Love. ~ Wald
