As to the question 'Does an object exist if there is no one there to observe it?' The observation exists (albeit in temporary form) even when the observer is gone. The observer and the observation are one. Yes, it is correct. But the observer eventually leaves its own observation (the observer's collapsed form) and returns to observer source.
