Earth is consciousness itself made manifest; it therefore upholds- and regulates itself. Not only that, but Earth has its own protection mechanism; it defends itself to threats regardless of their locality. In a way, we, humankind, are part of this defense. We are the ones protecting Earth for we are not just matter but consciousness manifesting itself as matter. The answer to the question as to what this consciousness exactly is is Self Love; it is the need to Love and Be Loved in return is this One wholesome unity in reality (aka God). God is quite literally Love and so we are. We are Love made manifest.
