There never was anything but self. Self was there in the beginning. Self is here now. There where separateness is perceived is only self. So why then is there this illusion of separation? There is no separation. All this is self. But why then is there man and woman? This is all self. Man and woman, as well as all that you see, is all so self could experience itself; so it could experience love. Why are their conflicts, why is there war? War is caused by forgetfulness. It happens when self forgets it is one and the same, it happens when self forgets its purpose. The only purpose is love, warmth, togetherness, companionship. There is no other purpose but love.
