The eternal life simply means realizing Oneself itself is. It is not to be confused with the individual's perception of it being separate from its surroundings and solely associating itself with its physical body. Rather, it is realizing 'Oneself itself is all that is and all that is is Oneself.' It is this what Jesus tried to explain in John 10:27–28 with 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish.' It has nothing to do with any particular religion for religion is that which binds itself together: it is all of us as One for we are. This being said; religion can certainly point to the truth as long as it teaches all-inclusivity instead of separation. If it teaches the latter, it is not the truth. The truth is always us as One for we are.
