Brahman is Oneself Desiring Companionship

It is said that there is only Brahman. So it is. Brahman is One. Brahman is One Self, i.e., Oneself. There is only Oneself. Self is the eternal One. Self is the eternal Brahman. To say that Oneself has no purpose in creating the world is a fallacy. The purpose of the world, of life, of reality is not to be alone, to experience Companionship. Companionship is the reason for life diversified. Hence, Companionship is the purpose of Brahman in creating the world. The world is indeed a creation of Self. It is Self that perceives itself as diversified not to be alone. It is Self that perceives itself as man and woman not to be alone. It is Self that upholds time not to be alone. All this is Lila, or the Divine play, by Self for it is Oneself which is the Divine Brahman. All this is created out of the primordial desire for Companionship, to Love and be Loved. Of course Lila is a Self-conscious volitional effort; there is only Oneself after all, there is only Brahman after all. The concept of Lila signifies not so much freedom or playfulness but first and foremost necessity. The cause is cosmic loneliness and the purpose is Love aka Companionship. For indeed; the Cosmos is Oneself. All this for Love; not to be alone. In conclusion: Satya is Oneself desiring Love. So it is.
