Some state that Reality, or the supreme Self, is one without a second, without a cause and without an effect, for it has no reason [motivation or need] to do anything. It is therefore not the doer, neither is there any action, instrument nor seed for such activity. Hence it is not the cause for this creation or the creator. All of the above is nonsense. The truth is much more simple. Reality is Oneself experiencing itself as variegated not to be alone with the cause being loneliness and the reason being companionship. Oneself causes itself out of the desire for constant companionship. Oneself is both creator and creation and the enjoyer of its own fruit. All this for love, all this for love... Love is the only purpose, there is no other purpose but Love.
