The answer to the question - what is Life? - is Self. Now I am certain that both Life and Death are abstractions. Why? Life and Death are part of One thing. This One thing is no thing but Self. Then why do we perceive Birth and Death? The short answer is Companionship better known as Love. We is not we. We is Self experiencing itself as we not to be by itself. As such Self returns to the essence of Self which is Love. Love is essentially Self. Self is essentially Love. Equation? 'I=Love'.
