Love is the Sole End and Purpose of Self.

It is Adam Smith who wrote that 'Consumption is the sole end and purpose of all production; and the interest of the producer ought to be attended to, only so far as it may be necessary for promoting that of the consumer.' With all due respect; Now I Am certain that - NOT consumption is the sole end and purpose but that - Companionship otherwise known as Love is the sole end and purpose of Self as all that is here is Self not wanting to be by itself. As such Self (which is society as a whole) first ought to attend to its own existential truth; this truth being I Love.
