Time* is the result of the desire for delayed gratification. That which desires to delay gratification is self. Self is at any time one not wanting to be alone. In nuce. The meaning of life, which is self really, is love. Love being synonymous with companionship, friendship, the need for togetherness. (*the passage of time is self-perceived out of the desire to experience companionship.)
