The purpose of buddha is love. Is it correct? Yes. Why? The meaning of buddha is enlight. The meaning of enlight is oneself. Oneself as in one not wanting to be alone. What it means in most simple terms. Irrelevant of time, it is not that there is no self, it is that there is only oneself not wanting to be by itself. The purpose of self is companionship, friendship, love.~ Wald Wassermann
