Hence the Gospel of Love.

It is said that the holy spirit is in constant battle with our predispositions (Galatians 5:13-23). Truth is more simple. Spirit knows it is one; it also knows it does not want to be alone. Hence the underlying purpose of the universe, the world, of life, of self (all these are one and the same). The purpose is simply companionship. It is not good for one to be alone.
