In John 4:18 it is said that 'There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.' What it really means is the following. There is only one self or ye shiva or ye shua or je sus. Do away with the perception of division or separation for this was all born out of self not wanting to be by itself, out of self desiring companionship, out of self desiring friendship, out of self desiring love. What it means is that nothing can threaten that which is you. That which is you, that which is all, is self experiencing itself as self-differentiated for love.
