Why The Purpose of Self, of Life, is Love.

All karma is born out of paramatman. Paramatman is oneself. What it means is that all this is self; that there is only one self. As such all karma is self playing with itself so not to be by itself. Hence the purpose of maya or lila. The purpose of maya is love. The purpose of lila is love. The purpose of self is love. For all this is self veiling itself as a multiplicity so not to be alone, so to experience companionship, so to experience friendship, so to experience love.~ Wald Wassermann
