If we all are one consciousness, how is there an individual consciousness that sees all as separate? Truth is simple. The body-mind complex is an emergent property of the one universal consciousness that is known by many names including but not limited to god, shiva, buddha, allah, et al. However. This one consciousness is in reality oneself. What it means is that the origin of self is self. Self has created itself to perceive itself as diverse so not to be by itself. The purpose of self being companionship, friendship, love. Love so love. Hence the two-fold meaning of the eternal life and the gospel of love. There is no death and the purpose of life, of self, is love.
