The answer to the question as to why there is complexity and life in the universe is the desire for love with love being a synonym for companionship and friendship. It simply is not good to be alone. What it really means is that the origin of self (life, the world, the universe) is self and that self is reality in its totality. In nuce. Self has created itself to perceive itself as complex out of the desire not be by itself with the purpose of self being companionship, friendship, love.
