ॐ तत्त्वमसि

It is written in the Bhagavad Gita: 'ajo 'pi sann avyayatma bhutanam isvaro 'pi san prakrtim svam adhisthaya sambhavamy atma-mayaya' (6) Translation: Though ‘I am’ birthless, deathless and undecaying by nature, and the lord* of beings, by subjugating my prakriti, I take birth by means of my own maya or own veil. But the true meaning is lost in translation for this ‘I am’ (ॐ) it nor he or she exclusively; this ‘I am’ (ॐ) is all of us as one for we are. We are the eternal one not wanting to be alone. One’s purpose is companionship, friendship, love. Hence the definition of life. Life is self (ॐ is शिव and शिव is ॐ) celebrating itself as self-differentiated for companionship, friendship, love. For irrelevant of time, all this is self and the purpose of self is love. Very true. Truly simple. Love.
