Is the universe conscious? Short answer is yes. However. The universe is a synonym for self. Self is conscious. Conscious of not wanting to be alone. Hence the perception of plurality. All is one unbroken whole. How can there be any division? It is not possible. Diversity exists; division does not . When mankind mistakes diversity for division, it causes discord at best and suffering at worst. Diversity exists for companionship; companionship is the only purpose. ~ Wald
