Lila: The Nature of Divine Play.

Why does Lila or divine play exist in the first place? What purpose does it fulfill? This is the answer and it's profoundly deeper than 'Divine Play'. Lila exists so Self could experience Love itself. What it means is that the illusion of separation is Self-fabricated for one purpose alone: not to feel alone. There is no such thing as duality. All there is is Self experiencing itself as manifoldness so to avoid aloneness! The one and only meaning of Life, the purpose of Self, of this PartnerShip called the World (which is Self really), is Love. Before brushing this off the table as too far-fetched, this is as good a time as any to point out that the original true orthodox meaning of Maya survives to this day in Nepali where the meaning of the word Maya (เคฎाเคฏा) is Love. Naturally we may replace the word Self with Atman/Paramatman/Brahman/God/Allah/Buddha/Jesus/Christ/Krishna/Tao/Cosmic Consciousness/Bio at any time for all this is Self; all this is Oneself, there is nothing but Oneself. For example; if we were to replace the word Self with Shiva (they are Synonyms) it would be as follows. Lila exists so Shiva could experience Love itself. What it means is that the illusion of separation is Shiva-fabricated (Shiva veils itself so to be able to experience Love itself; indeed for one purpose alone: the innate desire to Love and Be Loved (Kama), not to feel alone. I say 'feel' instead of 'be'; a small but important distinction. Regardless. There is no such thing as duality. All there is is Shiva experiencing itself as man and as woman, as life, as the world, as the universe! So in conclusion. The purpose of Shiva is Love. The purpose of Shakti is Love. The purpose of Lila is Love. It's all about Love. All is in reality one and the same. This one and the same is in truth Self. Self veils itself so to be able to experience Love itself. Such is the Truth. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. See all as Self for all is Oneself. Love! Love! Love!
