The purpose of the Tao is to be able to Love and be Loved in eternal return. So yes. The Tao is One. However. The Tao is One not wanting to be alone. It is not good for One to be alone. As such the why of Life. The Tao veils itself as Man and as Woman, as Life, so not to be alone. The purpose of the Tao is Companionship. The purpose of the Tao is Friendship. The purpose of the Tao is Love. What it means is that Life is the Tao celebrating itself as Man and as Woman for Love. As such why it is correctly so said by the wise that the meaning of Life is Love. For such is the truth. The meaning of Life IS Love. All this so not to be alone.
