Theory is always Singular.

Sometimes we have it backwards and I am not talking about the good type of backwards à la kris kross. What I am talking about is all these hypotheses in astrophysics, cosmology and theoretical physics which are then called 'theories' as in plural this although theory* is always singular and this while the singular purpose is always companionship otherwise known as friendship and love.
