All this is Self. Self veils itself as manifoldness so to escape aloneness. The purpose of Self Companionship. The purpose of Self Friendship. The purpose of Self Love. Hence the answer to the - if the soul exists before life and continues after, what is the point of living? - question. There is no such thing as an individual soul; there is only one soul or one self in reality desiring nothing else but companionship, friendship, love. It is this the why of life. It is the why of the world. It is this the why of the universe. All these are Self. Self's purpose is simply Love.
