If the universe is expanding, then what does it expand into?

A question was asked; 'If the universe is expanding, then what does it expand into and what do we call that space which accommodates the expanding universe?'. It is correct to note that the universe doesn't have to expand into anything in order for it to expand. It is even more correct to note that: 'All differentiation verily is Self and the purpose of Self is verily Love'. Love meaning companionship. It simply is not good for One to be alone. One's very own purpose Companionship, Friendship, Love. As such The Gospel. The Gospel of Love. Love each other each day anew for the purpose of otherness is togetherness.
