Some of my colleagues in Biology argue that a living thing acquires a purpose over time i.e. that purpose is emergent. I posit that the purpose of Self is not to be by itself which is why Self is Diverse in Life. Consequently, Life's purpose can be described as Companionship, Friendship, and Love.

The nature of reality is as simple as abc. All this is Self. Self has created itself to perceive itself as differentiated so not to be by itself. All is one unbroken whole. How can there be any division? It is not possible. Diversity exists; division does not . When mankind mistakes diversity for division, it causes discord at best and suffering at worst. Diversity exists for companionship; companionship is the only purpose. ~ Wald
