A Common Purpose.

It is said that there is no academic consensus on biodiversity's definition, its value, and even its history. Allow me to state that truth is simple and self-evident. It is not good for self to be by itself. The purpose of self - the reason for biodiversity - is companionship more commonly known as love. Now naturally not all of subsets of self will recognize the underlying purpose. But humankind has the gift of self-reflection. And with self-reflection comes self-recognition. The self-recognition of our common purpose. Our common purpose is fundamentally love.
