It is said in some of the more flamboyant philosophy literature that base reality implies that there are multiple layers of reality with the topmost layer corresponding to reality as it most superficially appears to us and the bottom layer corresponding with reality as it actually is. Best to forget about any such poppycock nonsense. Truth is simple and self evident. There is only one real who's one and only purpose is really love. Love happens to be the reason why we are here.
