Theoretical Thinking Allowed.

The current consensus on cell division is that it is part of a larger unified continuous cell cycle. Now I am not opposed to scientific wordspeak for after all; it is the word which speaks. However, as an orthodox biologist and realist, I would very much prefer to state that there is no such thing as cell division. While it is indeed true that there is a larger cell cycle, it is even more true that there is only one cell which veils itself as many cells so not to be by itself. Naturally this leaves self lost in translation in true babylonian tower style. As such a rather grand simplification at last.
