What Caused Cosmic Inflation?

According to current cosmological theory, cosmic inflation is thought to have been caused by a quantum field called the inflaton field which rapidly transitioned to a lower energy state, causing a period of extremely rapid expansion in the very early universe, shortly after the Big Bang. I see it much it simpler. Cosmic inflation is (not was, since everything is relative in the absolute sense) caused by Self not wanting to be by itself. In other words. I agree that all is Self. But I also say that it is not good to be by Oneself which is why Self is Different in Life. Life's variety thus serves but a singular purpose. This singular purpose is Companionship, Friendship, Love. In the simplest of possible conclusions? The origin of Cosmic Inflation is Self and the purpose of Self is Love which is why there is Life. Life's purpose is Love.
