The Truth of Life's Meaning: Love and Companionship.

One of my friends confided in me that she was distressed after reading in a book that 'the World is not Real'. I was able to dispel her concerns but I wonder how many other People are troubled because of such false knowledge. False knowledge born out of ignorance is indeed the great tragedy of this time. Man no longer remembers who he is and why he is here. This forgetfulness or unknowing brings with it a great deal of unneeded suffering. While it is true that 'there is only the Real, or the Absolute or the One Supreme Reality', it is not true that the World and Life are somehow magically excluded from It. For after all; how can the Real be excluded from the Real when there is only the Real? How can God be excluded from God when there is only God? The erroneous thinking that Life is separate from the Divine is born out of incomplete Self-understanding. How can Waves be separate from the Sea? Are the Waves and the Sea not one and the same? Naturally! This goes without saying. The mistaken belief that the Kingdom of Heaven is divided, is the fallacy of all fallacies and the root cause of most if not all problems. Truth is that there is only the Real and that all of Life, the World, and the Universe are but the Real expressing itself as Self-differentiated for Companionship, for Love. We are that One, that One Real, and the purpose of Life, the one purpose of Life is really Love. Synopsis. Love is the one reason for Life. All this so as not to be alone (Genesis 2:18), all this for Companionship, Friendship, Love (1 Corinthians 13:13).~ Wald
