Significance.

If we look at the transition from RNA to DNA, the transformation from a single-stranded molecule (RNA) to a double-stranded one (DNA), we can clearly see that it occurred out of one's very own inherent joy—this joy being the joy of (being able to experience) companionship. From this empirical fact, it can be deduced that the singular purpose of life, the reason for our existence, is not conflict nor war but companionship, otherwise known as love.
