There's a deeper meaning behind the command Jesus uses to calm a nighttime storm on the Sea of Galilee. All the waves (life) are the sea (god). It is actually the sea which moves itself as seemingly separate waves, as life, so to be able to enjoy companionship; so to be able to love and be loved. That's the message of Jesus. You are not just a wave, you are the sea. The sea it is life for love. This is the essence of the gospel or the good news; a message of glad tidings. Do not fear death. Embrace the joy of knowing life's purpose is an incredible blessing.
