Can Life exist without suffering? Let us answer this from a theological understanding. The Purpose of God is not suffering. The Purpose of God is to be able to experience Company. One could even say that the Purpose of God is to be able to Love and be Loved in return. In order for God to experience Company or Love, God veils Himself as Man and as Woman, as all of Life, as seemingly separate Beings. The Purpose of this Veiling is not suffering. The Purpose of the Veil is to be able to experience Company—Love. A Life without suffering is thus not possible, because it would require God to remove the Veil, and that is not His Purpose. In conclusion, God’s Purpose is Love, which is why there is Life. We can however transcend suffering somewhat through understanding that the purpose of God/Life is Love.
