Expanding Into What? The Universe's Infinite Growth Explained

If the universe is expanding, what is it expanding into if there is no outside, and why does it expand and accelerate at all? It is good asking the question. Do you believe in God? I sure hope so. That would help me explain it more clearly. Imagine for a moment that you are God (not Gods, since there is only God—the first fallacy that atheists make is not understanding the concept of differentiation within oneness, since they see all phenomena as separate). Regardless, imagine for a moment that you are God, and that you realize it is not good to be alone, and that companionship is more joyful than solitude. That, essentially, is why the universe “expands,” as cosmologists put it. The expansion of the universe is an abstraction; at its deepest level, all is one, but it’s simply not good to be alone, which is why we (God) appear as different animate forms in life. So, to answer your question: The universe expands for its own joy. This joy is basically your day-to-day companionship with the people you meet—your friends, your children, your loved ones. It’s also the joy of seeing the otherness of nature: trees, animals, clouds, the sun, etc. Now you see the importance and incredible wisdom of Jesus and his teachings in the New Testament, which center around love and forgiveness based on complete Self-understanding. The problem is that many scientists nowadays see everything as fragmentary, but fail to go full circle. That’s also why science without deeper insight is like espresso served in a paper cup; it’s spiritually incomplete.
