The Big Bang is a Singularity. What it means is that there's (only) Differentiation within Oneness. Or that Self is or rather appears different to itself in/as Life. As to the question 'why?'; the correct answer is clearly given in Genesis verse 2:18. It is not good to be alone. The purpose of it all, the meaning of existence, is companionship also known as love. ~ Wald Wassermann
