The contemporary thinking in Biology is that there was an RNA world on Earth before modern cells arose and that RNA stored both genetic information and catalyzed the chemical reactions in primitive cells. My goodness. Talk about making something simple sound complex. How about this. The origin of Self is Self not wanting to be by itself and the purpose of Self is Companionship otherwise known as Love which is why Self is Different in Life. So there is no Cell Division so to speak of but only Self-Differentiation for the purpose of Love. Louis Armstrong was right alright.
