What Exactly is Dark Energy?
What exactly is dark energy in cosmology? Perhaps this is as good a time as any for a clarification. According to NASA¹, dark energy is the name that astronomers give to the mysterious je-ne-sais-quoi that causes the universe to expand at an accelerated rate. Alright so here's the deal. Firstly; the word 'dark' creates a false sense of separation whereas all is one. Now. All expansion is relative and the purpose of relativity - and as such expansion - is love. This in the proper understanding that expansion is a synonym for self-differentiation, or, bio-diversity. In conclusion? Truth is simple. The purpose of life is love. You can bank on that.
